Letters from Santa started as a fundraiser for my son to raise money for a Band trip to Washington D.C. The school gave us the cost of $1,000 for him to attend and all they provided us with was one fundraiser that generated about $100. From that point we had to put on our thinking caps on how to generate more cash. My son is very determined so his goal was to raise at least half on his own so that is how Letters from Santa came about.

Since this has become a success we have decided to do this for a few more years since Mario has one more year in Band and I also have another child that is in a few activities in school also. If you see anything that we can do better next year all suggestions are accepted since we will have a entire year to get everything together.
